About US

Declan Leonard, owner of Crushing & Screening Services, has worked in the industry since he was 16 years old. Working in the service division of a number of crushing and screening manufacturers in Ireland, he saw an opportunity for himself as a service contractor for local clients. As his business grew, he expanded into plant fabrication and completed successful projects across Ireland and the UK.

He formed Crushing & Screening Services (C.S.S.) in 1997, continually expanding his operations and providing exceptional service to his customers. In 2004, C.S.S. became an equipment supplier with the addition of a wide range of TRIO equipment. At that point, the company became a total solution provider with design, equipment, supply, installation, and after-sales support making up the core business.

C.S.S. were the pioneers of TRIO equipment in Europe, selling the first units into Ireland and growing the business for TRIO across Europe for the next 10 years. Recently, C.S.S. has added a number of other quality brands to the equipment range, including Telsmith, Johnson Crushers Int., Kolberg-Pioneer, Astec Mobile Screens, Gator, and more. The company offers tailored solutions to suit every customer need and budget requirement.

Having spent more than 25 years in the aggregates business, Declan brings deep knowledge of solutions and hard-earned experience to running the day to day business of C.S.S. Whether it is meeting with customers on job sites, shipping spare parts from the warehouse, or dealing with inquiries for new business from his world wide customer base, Declan makes it his job to provide prompt, reliable service any day of the week.
As he says, “Customers come to C.S.S because they know that we don’t just sell equipment, we provide solutions to their problems. There is no substitute for hands-on experience in the aggregates equipment industry, and that is what is most lacking among many suppliers. C.S.S. is built on service to customers and we provide it day in, day out, right throughout the year.”
